The House That Listens — Terms of Use

By installing or playing The House That Listens you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the game.

1. The game

The House That Listens is a free-to-play horror game for players aged 13 and over. It contains frightening scenes, sudden scares and a threatening supernatural character. We may update, change or remove features and content at any time.

2. Purchases

The only real-money purchase is Remove ads, a one-time purchase processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms and refund policies. It is tied to your store account and can be restored with Restore purchases on the game's title screen.

3. Ads

The game may show one short ad after the Listener catches you a third time, and offers an optional video for a last chance. Remove ads switches off that ad and gives the last chance without a video.

4. Your conduct

Do not cheat, tamper with the game, use it to harm others, or try to get purchases without paying.

5. Ownership

The game, its art, sound and code belong to Douple. Some third-party assets are used under their licences (for example CC0 models and textures from Poly Haven and Kenney, OFL fonts, and CC BY icons from the Noun Project credited in the game). We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to play the game on your own devices.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
